James Wright

James Wright

Marine-Specific Claims

James entered the Marine Industry in 2008 after graduating in Law from Oxford and completing his Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice. He had secured a training contract at the prestigious American law firm of Squires Sanders and Dempsy. However, the lure of insurance proved too great and after exposure to Lloyd’s of London James joined Mar Risk Services and shortly thereafter began to handle their marine claims.
Since 2008 he has built up several insurance qualifications in the area of marine claims and qualified as an Associate Average Adjuster which gives him a singular insight into marine claims and enables him to deal with many matters without referring them to a third-party adjuster. Since Mar Risk’s purchase by Costero Brokers Ltd James has continued to handle all
their Marine Casualties as their Head of Marine Claims.
